last post of the year (again)

i realyy hate moving in winter.
i also hate moving in winter around christmas.
i especially hate it when all that is happening
as well as stuff at work needing my time and attention,
while at the same time, i am trying to juggle my own self-
maintenance, and not falling behind even further in life.

grrrr!

i am really excited about the new place.
i just hate the transition. so far, i and my family
have been able to blame the weather as the reason to not
get a truck down here.

there is a lot more to say on the subject but, doing so might get me down
about the whole thing. that would lead to even more heel dragging and being
too busy.

something devon said interested me.
i should do a web comic.
i think i might.
it would keep me working on my art and provide some expression at the same time.
he has his moments, that guy.

has it been that long?

i guess so. i was only tempted here by an email
saying that someone had commented on my last post.
a post that is almost a year old.
anyway, work is cool. i am an assistant manager
now. which is kind of cool. the crappy part is,
my boss is so busy that he can't quite train me to
do all the stuff yet.

art is almost standing still. mom and i are sort of
collaborating on a comic of sorts. a guy at work wants
to do some flash games with me as the artist. but all this is secondary to work.
i am having trouble looking for a place. and mom and devon are trying but it's hard.
this is going to be a strange new year.

last post of the year

i had a great Christmas. i wish i had more time with nanny.

after a month of diddling around, i finally got my neighbours to give my cat back.
i saw him once or twice, then nothing. i wish i had put a collar on him. again.

i am going to quit smoking for new year's.

new post - long time comming

well, it has been a long time since i posted.
so i still don't have much to say - except...

new job is going ok, still some things to iron out and get better at.
might be getting a raise. had a few screw-ups, nothing major. but i am taking them hard.

art is going so-so to poor. i am behind in two projects for other people.
and behind in my own. not digging this situation.

trying to watch a new show: code monkeys on G4 techtv
because of work i keep missing it! i have downloaded three eps so far.
i can't seem to find the latest one. i found a service that carries it for download
but it costs, so i won't get the service yet.

i also wish i could put all my stuff together like my blog, my art, my profile stuff like facebook. atleast that way i would only have to update one thing.

post long weekend

i hope everyone had a good long weekend.
i didn't see much in the way of public celebration
except for a small fireworks display in Victoria.
i had a good time, i suppose. i had yesterday and today
off from work. and of course i spent pretty much all
my money. ah well. work is going well. everyone seems
pleased with me. the only thing i don't like about
my job is even though it's a night shift, it starts at
three. i haven't got my first cheque yet. soon, very soon...


anyway, because of all the work and coming home
late, i haven't found the time or energy to get
some artwork done. and i am in the middle of some
important pieces. oh well, i'll figure it out.

ooh! i almost forgot, i set a date to quit smoking. it is about three and a half weeks from now. i am thinking the patch is the way to go. with the gum alone iwould have too many cravings, so it the patch with gum support. Woot!

back from the dead

it turns out i am not dead.

I am however very busy and very stressed and very depressed. not only am i moving into my parents house, but i am out of work again because i have to find something closer to my "new home". oh and did i mention that i am one of the four people who take care of my grandmother, who has cancer? no? well i am. and it is very hard as well.

so, i have all this to deal with and it was my birthday last weekend. we saw two half-movies. we saw the first half of taladega nights and the first half of another movie. it was an interesting night, kinda'. any way all the time i am spending at mom's house is making me homesick.

i should go... and sleep. if you are waiting for me to call you(you all know who you are) keep being patient, please.

what to do?

i am really in a twist about what is going to happen in the next few monthes.
quitting my current job, moving from my current house.
it's all very confusing and frustrating.
no matter what happens, I have some time to turn things around and clean up my act.

and christmas too. grr! another holiday durring a personal depression.

I really should start talking to people again. I was doing well for a minute, there.

persons w/ persistent, multiple barriors

I can't even email anyone right now.
I am tired, and a little disoriented.
work is weird. there is no "official" manager there.
just this couple of pretty nice people.
and although they're new, they are very responsible.
they still don't seem to know just how "special" my needs are.
and its not their fault that they can't help me get my ppmb cheque.

I just finished a comic series I have been watching (lullaby: wisdom seeker.)
what else is good? ... um, my rent is paid. with borrowed money.

at least I have enough cash tonight to have a strong beer. I have finished the dishes. it was my night.

still up in the air

well, this stuff at work is still crazy.
the head guy was supposed to show.
now, he might have, i arrived HOURS late.
then left at three-thirty.

and with my appointment tomorrow, the two new guys
will be left to they're own selves again.

it bugs me. this is the first week without a manager.
if thigns don't change real quick, i'll give my notice.

back to the appointment. if all goes well, I will have my rent
and have a way to report my income more easily. and then work
the next day. hoo-ray!

I finished watching eraserhead. I was certinly a strange film.
NEVER see it for the first time high!!! i saw it straight.
and almost died. you can really see david lynch in this.
if you have seen twin peaks, you really see his shots.

i've also seen all of the first half of the tenth season
of stargate sg-1. now i have to wait for the rest of it.
by then, the canadian showing of the first half should be over.

I read recently on bleachportal that episodes are now aired on wednesdays. I want to see the next ep now but, I can't do the "raw" thing. I will just have to wait till tomorrow. and i realize that bleach is already tv in canada and the states. I just don't want to start from the begining. besides, I like the voices for the english release, kinda, but I like the original, japanese cast better.

lost

i lost my phone charger. or more acurately, one of my roommates lost it. i also lost my tablet stylus. iam sure i'll find the stylus. but i'll have to buy a new charger.

I have been late for work almost everyday this week. having no cel and no watch dosen't help much.

I still haven't emailed Darycy yet. I am such a bastard!

the cans and bottles in my room have gotten to their old levels again.
i have tomorrow off, so i can get soem work done on my room and some chores and whatever.
